Carela's Personal Care & Assisted Living Home, LLC - With open arms, caring hearts, and unconditional love.
Services

At Carela's Personal Care & Assisted Living Home, we pride ourselves on having superb staff available, offering 24-hour full staffed supervision and an array of support services, with more privacy, space, and dignity than many nursing homes—at a lower cost. Daily contact with supervisory staff is our defining characteristic.

We are an income based facility, catering to our residents needs and lifestyles. Monthly charges will cover the resident’s room, meals, bedding, laundry needs, transportation, and personal necessities (combs, brushes, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and conditioner).

We focus on four types of care: personal care, assisted living,  respite care,  and independent living.

~ Personal Care ~

Personal care includes providing complete care for residents who are unable to do any basic functions for themselves. These residents are in need of total care to assist with daily living. They include residents who are bed-bound, have cognitive disabilities, are mentally incapacitated, have various forms of paralysis, and any other resident in need of total personal care.

Personal care provides residents complete assistance with:
  • bathing
  • dressing
  • toileting
  • eating
  • medication management
  • grooming
  • laundry
  • cleaning
  • traveling

~ Assisted Living ~

An assisted living facility provides care for residents who need some help with activities of daily living yet wish to remain as independent as possible. Our staff will assist our assisted living residents at their discretion to ensure their satisfaction of independence.

An assisted living facility is a good housing option for those who do not need an intense level of daily medical care. Though medical care is limited in an assisted living facility, it is possible to contract for some medical needs.

~ Respite Care ~

Respite care is short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home. An assisted living facility provides short term breaks that relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance while sharing the responsibility for care giving and getting support. An assisted living facility will offer temporary care for varying lengths of time.
